Refuge Farms is a totally volunteer organization that relies on your support to save a life! Thank you for your continued support and for allowing us to work in this world of horse rescue!
The Wish List for THE FARM:
* New wheel hubs for the 2000 Exiss Stock Trailer: we are running on the originals which are pitted and therefore, the electric brakes are not as efficient as they should be: estimated $500 repair March 2014: This wish list need is fulfilled! Many thanks!
* Four (4) new tires to replace the original equipment on the 2000 Exiss Stock Trailer - our main means of transport. This trailer has covered 1,000's of miles to save lives and is needing a "new set of Tingley's!" March 2104: This wish list need is fulfilled! Oh, how wonderful it is! AND - In addition to new tires, the donor wants to improve the look of the Refuge Farms trailer and so new aluminum wheels are also being donated! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
* Donations to the Annual Hay Fund to purchase 240 round bales at $110 each
* Gift certificates to Mill's Fleet Farm or Stockman's Farm Supply
* Ritchie automatic watering unit in the big barn for the Gelding's Pasture
* Eight (8) loads pea gravel to rebuild the big barn floor at $85 per load
* Four (4) new tires for the skid loader - the original equipment tires are badly worn, cut, and very thin and this machine is key to our daily operations As I sit here this morning, the skid loader is sitting in the driveway as proud as a peacock - sitting on four (4) brand new tires! I swear that machine is happy and plans on running for another 10,000 hours! As I told the donor who erased this item from our Wish List, the skid loader even sits higher! I can tell when I get inside! Plus, how wonderful to look and actually see tread on the tires!! THANK YOU!!!
* Thirty-six (36) tubes of Equimax paste dewormer to treat THE HERD for the spring cycle
* Vaccinations for the spring cycle - Rabies, West Nile, Tetanus, and 4-Way boosters - averaging $65 per horse
* $500 to sponsor a rescue and save an unwanted horse's life!!!
* Building Fund donations to support the construction of the badly needed Hospital!
* Keeping us on your prayer list!
